One of our more adventurous projects, “Uproar In Heaven” took us to the far off land of China and we were involved in the project for nearly a year, off and on. The story is that of the “Monkey King” and consisted of the first seven chapters of a group of eastern folklore books known as “Journey To The West”. Overall the project was to involve numerous characters, either full make-ups or puppet creations. In the end, all that was completed was these three characters: The Monkey King, The Jade Palace Guard and the Jade Emperor’s Advisor. I believe that the project was a bit ambitious for the Production company and after many months, was left uncompleted. Maybe someday… See photos here.
